All visitors are welcome; however, post surgery patients need a quiet and relaxed atmosphere so please use your discretion and be sure children are with you at all times.

Yes, all inpatient rooms have chairs that open up to beds.

Yes. Cell phones may be used throughout the facility. We do ask that you put your cell phone on silent or vibrate while in patient care areas.

Yes. Anyone is welcome to use their computer in our lobby areas and in a patient’s room. We also have wireless internet available.

We encourage visitors and do not adhere to a strict schedule; however, we lock down the building at 6 p.m. After that, you can obtain access by entering the South side of the building using the buzzer. Just identify who you are there to visit.

Patients will check in with the concierge and determine if all necessary paperwork has been completed. If their files are completed they will have a seat until their nurse comes for them. If their files are not complete, they will check with our Registration Desk first to complete their file and then have a seat until their nurse comes for them.

Family and friends can wait on the 5th floor in the surgery waiting area while the surgery is going on and if the patient will be inpatient after surgery family and friends can wait for the patient to be brought to their room on the 4th floor in the waiting area. The nurse will notify friends and family that are waiting as to when the patient can be seen following surgery.

Crescent City Surgical Centre is located at 3017 Galleria Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001. From I-10, take Causeway south towards Airline Hwy., then turn left of Galleria Blvd., then left on Ridgelake Dr., then right onton S. I-10 Service Rd., then right onto Galleria Blvd.

Yes. The patient will be taken to their admit bay, where they will be prepared for surgery, the anesthesiologist will speak with them, and their nurse will begin their IV and complete some additional paperwork. When all is completed, the concierge is notified to escort the family members (two at a time) to visit them. If more than two are present, we will swap visitors so that everyone will have the opportunity to visit prior to surgery.
